Today a meeting with representatives of KOCKS Consult GMBH was held at the Office of Sustainable Urban Development Investment Program. KOCKS Consult GMBH is Yerevan Solid Waste Management Project Consultant, which will support in project management, procurement and evaluation process as well as will implement the overall supervision of the construction construction works. Yerevan Solid Waste Management Project: within the framework of waste management project it is foreseen to design, build and maintain new sanitary landfill next to the existing Nubarashen landfill according to European standards. Besides it is also planned to close the existing landfill in accordance with European standards. Construction works include isolation of base, establishment of wastewater drainage systems and construction of respective reservoirs.
